The Ambassador
Amb. Lineo Ntoane
Amb. Lineo Ntoane holds a Degree in Sociology and also in Public Administration.
Amb. Ntoane joined the public service in the Kingdom of Lesotho in 1989 and worked in various different ministries including Health, Local Government and Public Service. Amb. Lineo Ntoane was the chair of the Lesotho Revenue Authority Board for six years; she also represented the Lesotho government in the Lesotho National Development Corporation and on the board of the Imperial Fleet Services Company. In 2008 Amb. Lineo Ntoane became High Commissioner in Pretoria, South Africa, and became ambassador to Germany in 2013, succeeding Makase Nyaphisi.
She is an ambassador-at-large; the embassy in Berlin is not only responsible for Germany but also for Austria, France, Poland, Monaco, the Holy See, and the Russian Federation, as well as international organizations including UNESCO, IAEA, and OPEC FUND (OFID).
