The Ambassador
Amb. Bishal Bhattarai
Amb. Bishal Bhattarai has been the Nepalese Ambassador to Germany since July 2013.
He has a Bachelor’s Degree.
He joined politics as an elected member of Free Students’ Union (FSU) of Bhagawoti Higher Secondary School of Khotang in 1982. Bhattarai, ex-central chief of Publicity Department of ANNFSU, students’ wing of CPN-UML, served as a chairman at FSU of Mahendra Ratna Campus, Khotang. He served as a member, a deputy secretary and a secretary of district committee of CPN-UML. He was abducted for 46 days by then CPN-Maoist during the armed conflict period.
