Amb. Khalid Sulaiman 'Abdul Rahman Ba Omar was accredited as ambassador to Germany on the 24th of September 2012.

Amb. Khalid Sulaiman 'Abdul Rahman Ba Omar graduated in 1988 with B.A.E. in Economics from the Seattle University in the USA. Amb. Khalid Sulaiman 'Abdul Rahman Ba Omar has two masters: one in Political Economy, obtained in 1994 from Newcastle upon Tyne University in the UK and the other in International Relations from the University of New School in NY, in 2004.

In 1988, Amb. Khalid Sulaiman 'Abdul Rahman Ba Omar was the 2. Secretary in the General Department of Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA). In 1989, Amb. Khalid Sulaiman 'Abdul Rahman Ba Omar was in the Department for Economical and Technical Cooperation, MFA, where he moved to the position of the 2. Secretary at Minister’s Office Department in 1990. In 1995, Amb. Khalid Sulaiman 'Abdul Rahman Ba Omar was the Director of the Office for Diplomatic Communication at the Minister’s Office Department.

In 1996, he became the Director of the Office for Diplomatic Communication in the Department for Economic Cooperation. In 1998 he became the Commercial Attaché at the Permanent Mission of Oman at the UN in NY and in 2004 he became the Chargé d’affaires at the Embassy of Oman in Vienna, Austria. In 2007 he became the Ambassador of Oman to South Africa and also was the non-resident Ambassador to Mozambique, in 2008 he also became the non-resident Ambassador to Angola and Mauritius and in 2010 the non-resident Ambassador to Zimbabwe
