From the 19th of July until the 4th of August, classical and contemporary music concerts will be held at the Konzerthaus at Gendarmenmarkt.

The Young Euro Classic festival was founded in 2000 with the goal of promoting classical and contemporary music in Berlin. Youth orchestras from around the globe come to play compositions from Beethoven and Shostakovich to contemporary pieces by composers from all over the world. The international character of this festival can be found not only in the orchestras that are invited to play, but also in the origins of the music played. This results in a diverse mixture of European orchestral culture with musical traditions from other nations and cultures.

The Admission Fee ranges from about 19 to 32€ per person; the concerts usually start at 8pm in the evening.
