Jerzy Marganski is the Ambassador of Poland to Germany in Berlin. His Excellency has served this function since February 8th 2013.

H.E. Amb. Jerzy Margański was born July 27th, 1955 in Tarnobrzeg. He holds a PhD degree in philosophy. From 1975 to 1985 H.E. Amb. Margański studied at Uniwersytet Jagiellonski in Krakow. Afterwards, he studied at the University Albert-Louis in Freiburg.

From 1990 to 1995 H.E. Amb. Margański worked at the Embassy of Republic of Poland in Bonn. From 1995 to 1997 he took the position of director of the Department of Western Europe in the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

From 1997 to 1999 he served the function of director of the Polish Diplomatic Post in Berlin. In the years between 1991 and 2001 H.E. Amb. Marganski worked as the Secretary of the Minister of Polish Foreign Affairs.

In 2001 H.E. Amb. Jerzy Margański gained the rank of Ambassador. From 2001 to 2005 His Excellency served as the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland in Switzerland. From 2005 to 2008 he worked in the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. During that time H. E. Amb. Jerzy Margański worked for several departments, which were focused on Information System, European Relations and Strategy.

From 2008 to 2012, His Excellency was the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland in Austria. Since 2013 H.E. Amb. Margański has been based in the Polish Embassy of Berlin.

H.E. Amb. Jerzy Margański speaks German and English.
