“El Sueño del Mara’akame” en Berlin

The Mexican Embassy organized the screening of one Mexican most famous movies- “El Sueño del Mara’akame” to celebrate the National Mexican Films day which happens to be on 15th of August. This is a way of promoting Mexican culture abroad and celebrate national holydays with the collaboration of the Mexican Embassy in Berlin.
Thanks to the cooperation of the Instituto Cultural Mexicano, the Mexican Embassy in Berlin joined other Mexican Embassies abroad to celebrate the national cinematographic festivity. The movie that has been selected for the screening in la Sala Juarez of the Embassy, “El Sueño del Mara’akame” , was recognized in more than 30 Festivales and earned several awards such as the Ariel for the Best Opera Prima and the Best Original Music in 2017. It was kindly provided by its producer- Machete Films.
Susana Garduño, director of the Instituto Cultural Mexicano, in her welcome speech explained that the main goal of that celebration was to bring audiences closer to the various national film industries, as well as to celebrate the stories which show Mexican diversity and great cultural wealth.
