“We Stand with the Iranian People” Reception at the U.S. Embassy in Berlin
On 25th of March, Ambassador Richard Grenell hosted members of the Iranian community to celebrate Nowruz at the U.S. embassy

At the Nowruz reception table at the U.S. Embassy in Berlin, as presented by Damon Golriz, there were seven elements included: wheat, apples, eggs symbolizing the new beginning, candlelight symbolizing the struggle between light and darkness, a mirror symbolizing the reflection, and the garlic, symbolizing the healing process.
These elements symbolize the way Iranians look at the nature and get unified around the Nowruz. The traditional Nowruz table is called « Haft-sinat ».
