The Ambassador
Amb. Colonel Christian Katsande
H.E. Colonel Christian M. Katsande was officially appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Zimbabwe to the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland in 2018.
Before he served as Deputy Chief Secretary in the Office of the President and Cabinet, responsible for policy formulation, coordination, and analysis.
He is a retired military officer, his background includes service in the Zimbabwe National Army and earlier experience as a military attaché in Britain in the 1980s.
Since arriving in London he has been publicly active on three main fronts: re-engagement diplomacy, diaspora outreach, and economic promotion.
