Amb. Macenje Florence Mazoka

H.E. Macenje Florence Mazoka is the High Commissioner of Zambia to the United Kingdom, since 2023.Before entering her diplomatic role, Mazoka had a long and distinguished career in broadcasting, media management, and communications. She studied Broadcast Journalism and Developmental Psychology at Howard University in Washington, D.C., and later earned a Master’s in Media Management from The New School in New York. She also completed an Executive Management Development Programme at the University of Stellenbosch Business School in South Africa.

Her efforts and impact were recognized in 2025, when she received the African Embassy & Ambassador Award for her work in enhancing Zambia–UK relations. She is also a regular speaker at high-level forums: she was a keynote speaker at an ODI conference on geoeconomics, trade, and development.
