Throughout the summer, Berlin welcomes the powerful and thought‑provoking work of Mexican artist Fabiola Quezada. Known for her evocative exploration of the human form, Quezada brings her latest exhibition, The Naked Man, hosted by the Embassy of Mexico.

The vernissage took place on July 8, 2025, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., offering visitors a first glimpse into a body of work that seeks to challenge long‑held conventions in the art world. In her own words, Quezada describes her artistic journey as “a personal search for the beauty of the nude male figure, showing how natural it is for artists to observe, study, interpret, and exhibit the male nude—just as it is natural for any artist to paint and exhibit the female nude.”

Through this lens, her work becomes a statement for gender parity in artistic representation. By portraying the male nude from a female perspective, Quezada reclaims a space historically dominated by male interpretations of the female form. Her pieces invite reflection, dialogue, and a reconsideration of what it means to view the body through an artistic lens.

The exhibition runs from July 9 to August 22, 2025, and is open to the public Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at the Embassy of Mexico in Berlin.
