H.E. Genevieve A. Kennedy serves as the Ambassador of the Republic of Liberia to the United Kingdom, representing Liberia at the Court of St James’s.

She plays an increasingly important role in multilateral diplomacy, particularly in the maritime sector—one of Liberia’s most strategic national interests. She has publicly championed Liberia’s campaign for re-election to the International Maritime Organization (IMO) Council, Category A, highlighting the country’s historic contributions to global shipping and its leadership within the world’s second-largest ship registry.

Kennedy has also commended Liberia’s active participation in international institutions, including its seat on the United Nations Security Council, underscoring the country’s evolving role in global peace, security, and diplomacy.
