Amb. Catherine Kirumba Karemu

H.E. Catherine Karemu Wahome is a seasoned professional with a distinguished career spanning approximately 30 years in leadership and organizational development.

Throughout her career, she has held various high-level positions, including serving as Technical Advisor on Human Resource Management and Development to the Cabinet Secretary in the Ministry of Public Service, Gender, Senior Citizens Affairs, and Special Programmes. She also served as the Cabinet Secretary’s alternate at the Salaries and Remuneration Commission, which oversees the remuneration of State and Public Officers in Kenya.

Academically, Amb. Catherine holds a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) degree from Cambridge University (UK), an MBA from the University of Nairobi (where she graduated at the top of her class), and a First-Class Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from Kenyatta University, Kenya. She is also a credentialed Executive Leadership Coach, Facilitator and Competence Assessor.
