The Ambassador
Amb. Dr. Desra Percaya
Desra Percaya is a senior Indonesian career diplomat. Born in 1961, he has served in diplomatic posts in Washington, Rome, Tehran, Seoul and London and held senior positions in Jakarta, including Chief of Staff to the Foreign Minister and Director-General for Asia-Pacific and African Affairs. He became Ambassador to the United Kingdom in 2020 and is also accredited to Ireland and the International Maritime Organization.
History
Bilateral relations between Indonesia and the United Kingdom are highly cooperative and expanding dynamically, anchored by more than seven decades of robust diplomatic alignment.
