Amb. Ms. Anaïse Manuel

Ambassador Anaïse Manuel is a leader in diplomacy, strategy, and international development with nearly two decades of experience advancing public and private sector collaboration. Appointed as Haiti’s Ambassador to the United Kingdom, she brings a strong commitment to economic diplomacy, trade promotion, and the advancement of Haiti’s strategic interests on the global stage.
Born into a family of Haitian activists, Ambassador Manuel proudly carries forward a legacy of public service. Her father served as Haiti’s Ambassador to Mexico and Brazil, instilling in her a profound sense of civic duty, national pride, and global vision .
As Consul in the Commercial Section of the Consulate General of Haiti in Miami, she led trade missions, facilitated foreign direct investment, and built partnerships that generated thousands of jobs and strengthened Haiti’s economic ties with the international community. She later worked in the Strategy and Transactions service line at Ernst & Young, where she supported high-impact initiatives, strengthened organizational performance, and advanced programs promoting entrepreneurship and equity.
Ambassador Manuel has long championed democratic governance and diaspora engagement. As Communications Director of the Haitian American Foundation for Democracy (HAFFD), she has led strategic messaging to promote democracy, human rights, and sustainable development. She also contributed to the Ayiti Diaspora Collaborative, a coalition mobilizing Haitians abroad to advocate for systemic change.
She holds an MBA in International Finance and Accounting from American University and a Bachelor of Arts in Latin American Studies and Spanish from George Washington University. Fluent in Haitian Creole, French, English, and Spanish, she is a proud legacy member of the Haitian Ladies Network, where she also served on the board.
In addition to her diplomatic and strategic work, Ambassador Manuel is the Emmy-winning co-creator and producer of Caribbean Cook-Out, a cultural docuseries that celebrates the richness of Caribbean cuisine and heritage. Her work in media reflects a broader commitment to storytelling as a tool for connection, cultural diplomacy, and global engagement.
