History
Germany and Ethiopia have a diplomatic relationship dating back over one hundred years. Ethiopia has learnt a lot from Germany, especially in the area of federalism, as well as education and human resource development. Nowadays Ethiopia is transforming its agrarian economy and follows a path of industrialization. Germany's considerable experience in engineering, technical and vocational training and in institutional capacity building, could be of great value to Ethiopia.
