Amb. Estifanos Habtemariam Ghebreyesus
H.E Estifanos Habtemariam Ghebreyesus has long served as the Ambassador Extraordinary & Plenipotentiary of Eritrea to the United Kingdom and Ireland.
In his role, he has achieved senior standing among African diplomats: in 2021 he was described as the Dean of the Africa Diplomatic Corps in London — meaning he was the longest-serving African ambassador in the UK at that time.
He also carried out diplomatic accreditation to Ireland: he formally presented his credentials as Ambassador to Ireland.
