Amb. Ms. Rosa Hernández de Grullón

Her Excellency Rosa Margarita Hernández de Grullón is the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Dominican Republic to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, based in London. She assumed her post following her appointment under Decree 704‑24.

Ambassador Hernández de Grullón previously served as the Dominican Republic’s Permanent Representative to UNESCO in Paris and was Ambassador to France, a role she held from 2010 to 2025.

Her diplomatic career has been marked by her commitment to cultural diplomacy, international cooperation, and social causes. She has been especially active in promoting Dominican culture and education in Europe.

In 2025, she was honored with the rank of Commander of the National Order of the Legion of Honor by France, in recognition of her work in strengthening bilateral relations, promoting cultural exchange, and her diplomacy with heart.

Since her arrival in London, Ambassador Hernández de Grullón has worked to modernize and expand consular services — under her leadership, the Embassy launched a consular section in September 2025 to handle visa issuance and passport renewal.

Born on 10 September 1953 in the Dominican Republic, she is married to Manuel Alejandro Grullón and is known for her strong engagement in social initiatives and philanthropy.Inizio modulo
