Amb. Milton Arthur Inniss

H.E. Milton Artur Inniss has served as High Commissioner of Barbados to the United Kingdom since October 2018. He studied in the UK, earning a degree in Quantity Surveying from the University of Reading and is also a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

He spent over 34 years working in construction, primarily in the Caribbean, where he rose to senior roles in project management, contract administration, and financial oversight.

Service and volunteering have been a strong thread throughout his career, for the past 28 years he has been a member of the Rotary Club of Barbados West, the global service organisation whose purpose is to bring together business and professional leaders in order to provide humanitarian service and to advance goodwill and peace around the globe.

As High Commissioner in London, Inniss has defined his mission around economic diplomacy, cultural engagement, and diaspora relations.
