Amb. Dr. Carles Jordana Madero

Carles Jordana Madero assumed his current role as Ambassador of Andorra to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, and to the Republic of Ireland, after a distinguished career in politics, diplomacy, and law.

His early career was in the legislative branch, where he served as a member of the Andorran General Council for the Democrats for Andorra, elected in 2015. Alongside his political work, he built a professional background as a lawyer and diplomat, contributing to Andorra’s institutional and international development.

Jordana studied Business Law at Toulouse 1 Capitole University, earning his Master’s degree in 2003. He later pursued a postgraduate degree in Andorran Law at the University of Andorra in 2006, strengthening his expertise in both international and national legal frameworks.

Born in 1977 in Andorra, he has dedicated his career to representing his country abroad and fostering stronger diplomatic, cultural, and economic ties with the United Kingdom and Ireland.
