The Ambassador
Amb. Nourredine Yazid
Nourredine Yazid is a career Algerian diplomat who joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1988 after studying at Algeria's National School of Administration. His overseas service has included an earlier posting in London as Minister-Counsellor, as well as ambassadorial assignments in Chile and Zimbabwe. He returned to London as Ambassador to the United Kingdom in 2023.

The mission also places an emphasis on academic and cultural diplomacy—exemplified by joint initiatives with elite British institutions such as the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies—while robustly supporting the welfare and integration of the substantial Algerian national community residing across the United Kingdom.
