The Ambassador
Amb. Derrick Ally
H.E. Derrick Ally studied biological sciences and pedagogy at the University of Auckland in New Zealand and started his career as a teacher on La Digue in 1991.
He has since occupied several positions which included Chief of Protocol, director-general for Presidential Affairs and general manager for Corporate Services at the Seychelles Pension Fund. He has also worked in the Commonwealth Secretariat in London for nine years.
He was appointed ambassador of Seychelles in 2014 and has served four years as high commissioner of Seychelles to the United Kingdom and ambassador of Seychelles to several European countries.
