The Canary Island Movies in Berlin
Promoting the unique character of the island expression of culture through the film making

Organized by the Deutsh-Kanarische Gesellshaft in Berlin, this movie night represents the screening and brings special attention to the unique film making of the most tropical place in Spain- the Canary Islands.
With the feature film "La isla al viento”, a masterpiece of the canary culture, and a broad selection of short films, La Sociedad para la Promoción Cultural de Canarias en Europa wants to bring the work of Canarian filmmakers closer to Berlin.
This event, called AtlantikLights, took place 12th of June in in the famous neighborhood of Kreuzberg, and was organized in collaboration with Kino moviemiento.
