Tempelhofer Hafenfest Returns With Music, Fireworks, and Family Events
A three-day festival in Berlin that combines entertainment, shopping, and open-air activities

The Tempelhofer Hafen shopping centre will once again host the Tempelhofer Hafenfest from May 29 to 31, 2026, bringing live entertainment, family activities, and open-air festivities to the Tempelhof district at the beginning of the summer season.
Over three days, the harbour complex will combine retail activity with a public festival program featuring music, stage performances, and leisure events. Shops within the centre will participate in the celebrations alongside outdoor entertainment formats designed to attract visitors beyond conventional shopping hours. One of the central attractions of the festival will be the fireworks display scheduled for Saturday evening.
The weekend program places particular emphasis on family-oriented activities. On Saturday and Sunday, younger visitors can take part in face painting sessions, creative workshops, and sporting activities, while the stage program will be presented by Radio Teddy. The format reflects the increasingly hybrid role of urban shopping centres in Berlin, where commercial spaces are frequently reimagined as public event venues during seasonal festivals.
Set around the harbour area in Tempelhof, the festival also contributes to the district’s local event calendar, drawing together residents and visitors through a combination of entertainment, gastronomy, and community programming. Its open-access structure reinforces the informal atmosphere typical of Berlin’s neighbourhood festivals, where public gathering and local participation remain central elements.
With free admission and programming spread across the weekend, the Tempelhofer Hafenfest continues to position itself as both a commercial and cultural event, transforming the waterfront shopping complex into a temporary festival space shaped by music, activity, and public celebration.
