Monday’s jazz at Kunstfabrik Schlot to give a week’s supply of energy

News from Berlin. When starting the week with new plans and agendas Monday’s evening should give energy for fulfilling them all throughout the week. Jazz evenings that take place in Kunstfabrik Schlot every Monday can give you both a spiritual and joyful lift for the upcoming week. Ballestrem Quartet is going to kick off the week this Monday, on February 10th, with their compositions.

Meet Anna-Lena Schnabel playing sax, Andreas Lang playing bass and Tobias Backhaus on drums. The fourth member, John Ballestrem is a jazz pianist and a composer. For the last two years he has been playing in National Youth Jazz Orchestra (BuJazzO), with whom he has recorded several CDs. Last year John Ballestrem went on a month-long tour in West Africa. Besides, he is widely known around Europe as a participant of Berlin Jazz Festival, Groznjan Jazz Festival, Imatra Big Band Festival, St. Louis Jazz Festival, Jazz Festival in Bonn and other festivals.

Jazz evenings start at 21.30 on Mondays at Kunstfabrik Schlot (Invalidenstrasse 117 (in den Edisonhöfen).
