A space of discovery and reflection focused on new cinema and contemporary art

On August 20-25 Rencontres Internationales will be coming to Berlin and will have screenings, exhibitions, and performances of works by internationally recognized artists and filmmakers.

Rencontres Internationales will transform Haus der Kulturen der Welt into a space of discovery and refection on new cinema and contemporary art. This event will showcase Premières, cartes blanches, special events, video programmes, performances, and discussion.

This year’s event, South Africa will be featured in two works: Abri De Swardt “Ridder Thirst” and “Tomato Sauce Takeaway” by Riley Pam-Grant, Abi Meekel and Claire Meekel.
