Digitalization, artificial intelligence, and social media have introduced a new form of relevance and use of content. Publishers now have the opportunity and the chance to shape this transformation, engage their readership, and strengthen society with topics that inform rather than instruct.
Söder reiterated his support for media professionals in the transformation process. He highlighted that lowering the value-added tax on press products, establishing standards for artificial intelligence, and streamlining public broadcasting can contribute to the future viability of publishers.
