Romance of Sustainability – Estonia and German Designers Showcase Sustainable Fashion in Berlin
Estonian Embassy and Goethe-Institut Tallinn promote eco-friendly innovation and creativity

From July 3 to 5, 2025, Berlin’s vibrant Kreuzberg district hosts Roamance of Sustainability, a unique pop-up event dedicated to sustainable fashion. Presented by the Estonian Fashion Festival in cooperation with the Goethe-Institut Tallinn and the Embassy of Estonia in Berlin, the event takes place at roam projects e.V., a creative space renowned for fostering eco-conscious design.
The three-day showcase brings together innovative Estonian and German designers who are reshaping the fashion industry with environmentally friendly materials, ethical production methods, and forward-thinking concepts. Visitors will discover collections that emphasize craftsmanship, durability, and ecological responsibility—demonstrating how sustainability and style go hand in hand.
Highlighting the event will be the announcement of the Estonian Most Sustainable Designer 2025, an accolade recognizing outstanding contributions to eco-fashion. This award spotlights Estonia’s growing role in the international green fashion movement and encourages ongoing collaboration with Germany’s own sustainable design community.
Roamance of Sustainability not only celebrates creative expression but also reflects the shared cultural diplomacy goals of Estonia and Germany. By promoting sustainable development through art and design, the event fosters cross-cultural dialogue and environmental awareness in the heart of Europe.
