The Instituto Cervantes in Berlin invites you to a captivating presentation of the play "Ana's Suitcase." This is the enchanting story of a red suitcase that lived in a green forest. Or rather, it's the story of a little girl who lived in a red suitcase, which itself resided in the green Forest of Lost Things.

"Ana's Suitcase" is a family-friendly performance that masterfully blends object theatre, puppetry, music, and dance to weave a tale about identity, quests, losses, and reunions. This show is designed for young audiences but transcends age barriers to touch the hearts of the entire family.

The play is a collaboration between Proyecto Alicia and Meraki Cía, bringing together diverse artistic talents to create a unique theatrical experience. The event is scheduled to run from September 27 to October 1, 2024, at the Instituto Cervantes in Berlin. The performance is supported by the Mexican Embassy, the Mexican Ministry of Culture, and the Stadtbibliothek Kreuzberg, reflecting a significant effort in cultural diplomacy to promote Mexican culture and arts in Germany.

This event is an excellent example of cultural diplomacy in action, highlighting the importance of artistic exchanges in fostering mutual understanding and appreciation between different cultures. By showcasing the cultural heritage of both Berlin and Lima, "Ana's Suitcase" serves as a bridge connecting audiences from diverse backgrounds through the universal language of art.
