The concerts are held at the Konzerthaus at Gendarmenmarkt and focus on classical and contemporary music.

Each year during the festival, the concert venue - the Konzerthaus at Gendarmenmarkt - is filled to the brim. Compositions from Beethoven and Shostakovich as well as contemporary pieces by composers from all over the world draw a large audience.

Youth orchestras from around the world
Young Euro Classic is a very international festival, not only in terms of the origins of the music played. Every year, more orchestras from countries further and further away participate at the festival and interweave European orchestral culture with musical traditions from other nations.

The best orchestras with young musicians and soloists
Young Euro Classics was founded in the year 2000. The original idea was to create a platform for the best youth orchestras from around the world and promote classical music in Berlin. The creation of the festival also reflects the huge global boom in interest in youth orchestras in the last twenty years.
