Malaysian Ambassador to Germany Delivers Welcoming Remarks at InnoTrans 2024 in Berlin

Ambassador supports Malaysian companies at world’s largest transport technology trade fair

During 24-27 September, H.E. Datin Paduka Dr. Adina Kamarudin, Ambassador of Malaysia to Germany, attended the opening session of InnoTrans 2024m in its 14th edition, and welcomed everyone with a warm speech. She spent the journey visiting the booths of the participant Malaysian companies in the fair, greeting the international attendees and participants and emphasizing the significance of InnoTrans as a platform for innovation, collaboration, and global networking in the rail and public transport sectors

InnoTrans Berlin is one of the world’s largest trade fairs focused on the rail transport industry. The event takes place every two years and serves as a global platform for showcasing the latest innovations in rail technology, infrastructure and transportation. The presence of the Ambassador Dr. Adina was a source of pride for the Malaysian exhibitors, as she recognized their efforts and achievements in promoting Malaysia's strengths in the transportation and infrastructure sectors. The Ambassador also stressed the importance of such international gatherings in opening doors for further cooperation between Malaysia and countries worldwide, especially Germany, a leading hub for transportation technology.

The event was attended by around 3,000 exhibitors and visitors that have travelled from over 60 different countries to take part in this leading trade fair, to see and experience offerings and innovations on 200,000 m² of exhibition space. Since its inception in 1996, the biennial event has grown to become a global platform for showcasing cutting-edge innovations in rail technology, infrastructure, and transportation solutions.
