The MADE IN GERMANY – AFRICA expo and conference continues to serve as a cornerstone of German–African trade diplomacy. Held from 25 to 27 June 2025 at the Sarit Expo Centre in Nairobi, the event brought together German companies, African trade buyers, policymakers and stakeholders from across the continent.

Organized with the official support of the German Embassy in Nairobi and the German Embassy in Addis Ababa, the exhibition highlighted opportunities in infrastructure, energy, agriculture, manufacturing, and digitalization. German Ambassadors Sebastian Groth and Stephan Auer emphasized that this growing cooperation goes beyond business, strengthening mutual understanding, trust, and cultural ties between Germany and Africa.

Participants noted the event’s success in fostering partnerships and generating new business opportunities. Exhibitors described it as a unique space for meaningful contacts, high-level discussions and even live agreements signed on the ground.

Following the strong impact of the 2025 edition, organizers have already announced the next MADE IN GERMANY – AFRICA, scheduled for 8 to 10 July 2026, again at the Sarit Expo Centre in Nairobi. The upcoming event will expand its conference program with workshops, diplomatic talks, and curated investment discussions, aiming to accelerate trade and investment relations between Germany and Africa.

With Nairobi serving as a strategic hub, the expo underlines the significance of German quality products and services in Africa’s fast-growing markets. As Ambassador Auer highlighted: “German companies realize more and more the unlimited potential of Africa.”
