The Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Austria is pleased to announce an upcoming cultural event featuring the renowned Kazakh ensemble "Sazgen Sazy" from Almaty. The concert is scheduled for April 24 at 18:00 in the Musikverein (Music Club), offering a unique window into the nation's artistic soul through a repertoire of traditional masterworks.

"Sazgen Sazy" is a distinguished folkloric-ethnographic ensemble founded in 1981 under the Republican Museum of Kazakh National Folk Instruments. The group is dedicated to the preservation and promotion of traditional Kazakh musical culture, with each musician masterfully playing several national instruments. These include the better-known Dombra and Sybyzghy, alongside ancient, renovated instruments like the Narkobyz, which vividly convey the depth and diversity of Kazakhstan’s musical heritage.

The ensemble’s performance features a diverse program that captures the richness and flavor of the "steppe melos," a musical tradition that dates back centuries. The group is globally recognized for its authentic interpretations and high level of artistic mastery, having represented Kazakh culture through numerous international performances across Europe and Asia.

This event provides an excellent opportunity for the Viennese public to experience the fascinating sounds of traditional music and engage with the rich cultural fabric of Kazakhstan. By bringing these ancient sounds to one of Vienna's premier musical venues, the Embassy continues to foster deep cultural and humanitarian ties between the two nations. The Embassy invites all interested parties to join this special occasion and experience the vibrant legacy of Central Asia. Attendees are requested to register through the official link provided by the diplomatic mission to secure their participation in this milestone of cultural exchange.
