The Italian Embassy in Berlin hosted a new edition of “Music on the Terrace,” a cultural event designed to strengthen intercultural dialogue and reinforce the role of music as a tool of cultural diplomacy.

Held on one of the Embassy’s terraces overlooking Berlin’s Tiergarten, the event gathered guests from different cultural backgrounds for an evening dedicated to artistic exchange and social interaction. The program featured performances by Italian DJs based in Berlin, creating a platform for contemporary cultural expression and community engagement.

According to Ambassador Fabrizio Bucci, the initiative reflects the Embassy’s commitment to becoming an increasingly open and accessible institution. He highlighted that art and music play a unique role in building bridges between cultures and fostering mutual understanding among people from different countries.

The event also complemented the Embassy’s broader cultural strategy, which includes exhibitions of contemporary artworks displayed within the diplomatic mission. Through these initiatives, the Embassy seeks to promote Italian culture while encouraging dialogue between Italy, Germany, and the international community in Berlin.

“Music on the Terrace” was organized within the framework of Italian Week 2026, a series of cultural activities culminating in celebrations marking the 80th anniversary of the Italian Republic. The initiative demonstrated how cultural events hosted by diplomatic institutions can contribute to stronger international relationships and people-to-people connections.
