For the seventh consecutive year, Berlin's ufaFabrik will host the Irish Festival Berlin on its open-air stage, scheduled for August 16 and 17, 2024. This year’s festival, which has become a cherished tradition in Berlin, will feature internationally acclaimed artists, including the duo Zoë Conway & John Mc Intyre, singer Ben Sands, and the band Peacky Pluckers.

Berlin-based musicians will once again showcase their dedication to preserving traditional Irish music, with performances by The Fine Tunes. Dance, an essential element of Irish culture, will also be highlighted. Gyula Glaser and Nicole Ohnesorge will perform as soloists, and two Irish dance schools, Tap Connection and Jigs and Reels, will present their talents to the Berlin audience.

Adding to the cultural depth of the festival, internationally renowned author Hugo Hamilton, known for “The Speckled People”, will offer insights into his work and discuss the significance of storytelling in Irish culture.

Each evening will conclude with an open session of traditional Irish music, inviting all to join in and celebrate the rich musical heritage of Ireland.
