The KUNST HAUS WIEN Museum Hundertwasser is hosting the exhibition "Into the Woods" as part of the Climate Biennale until August 11th.

The Swiss Embassy in Vienna contributed to the inclusion of the video installation "Transient Traveller" by Swiss artist Monica Ursina Jäger in the exhibition. Through this piece, the Swiss primeval forest is brought to Vienna.

The exhibition explores the theme of forests; forests purify water and air, provide resources and food, serve as habitats for numerous species, and play a crucial role in stabilizing the global climate by acting as carbon sinks. At the same time, the forest ecosystem is under threat due to human activities, which has global consequences. Curator Sophie Haslinger addresses all these issues and more, at the intersection of art and research.
