International conference titled Masters of Innovation and Art: Contributions of the Turkic World to Global Science and Culture held in Berlin
A cultural event promoting the Turkic World’s cultural contributions
October 07th, 2025On June 3, 2025, the Azerbaijan Cultural Center in Berlin hosted an international conference titled “Masters of Innovation and Art: Contributions of the Turkic World to Global Science and Culture.” The event was jointly organized by TURKSOY, the embassies of Azerbaijan, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan in Germany, with support from the Yunus Emre Institute and TIKA.
The conference aimed to present the rich cultural and scientific heritage of the Turkic world and to highlight the significant contributions of Turkic nations to global science, culture, and art before an international audience. During the plenary session, Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Germany, Nasimi Aghayev, emphasized the contributions of Turkic communities in Germany and the economic and cultural significance of the 179-million-strong Turkic world. He noted the region’s historic achievements in science, art, architecture, and literature, stressing that unity and cooperation among Turkic states are essential for success and the preservation of shared values.
Representatives from the German Foreign Ministry, government agencies, scientific and cultural institutions, universities, as well as leaders and members of the diplomatic corps attended the event. The conference included opening speeches, thematic panels, an art exhibition, traditional music performances, and a reception.
