On 1 October 2025, the Embassy of Peru in Berlin will host the opening of “Huellas sudamericanas” (“South American Traces”), an art exhibition by Peruvian artist Francisco Aguilar-Oswald. The vernissage will take place at the Embassy’s “María Reiche” Hall, bringing together art enthusiasts, members of the diplomatic community and friends of Peru to celebrate Latin American creativity.

“Huellas sudamericanas” is an eclectic collection that moves between cubism and ecological balance. The exhibition pays tribute to three key themes that have shaped the artist’s personal and professional journey: cultural heritage, the natural world and spirituality. Through his unique vision, Aguilar-Oswald offers a universal message of harmony, inviting visitors to experience a deep artistic empathy.

The exhibition will remain open to the public from 2 to 20 October 2025, Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 13:00 and 15:00 to 17:00, at the Embassy of Peru, Taubenstraße 20, Berlin.

By presenting “Huellas sudamericanas”, the Embassy of Peru reaffirms its commitment to promoting Peruvian art and culture in Germany, while fostering dialogue and connection between South America and Europe. The event not only highlights the richness of Peru’s artistic heritage but also contributes to strengthening cultural diplomacy between nations.
