Youth symphony orchestras from around the globe will enrich the Berlin summer with classical music concerts at the Konzerthaus Berlin on Gendarmenmarkt from August 9 to August 25. This annual event brings together talented young musicians to celebrate and share their passion for classical music in one of Europe's most prestigious venues.

The word "Euro" in the festival's name symbolizes the rich tradition of European orchestral culture and its global influence. A typical concert at the Young Euro Classic festival features a symphonic work from the 19th or 20th century, a representative piece from the orchestra's home country, and a world or German premiere. This diverse and carefully curated program showcases the breadth and depth of classical music traditions across the continents.

In 2024, the Young Euro Classic will celebrate its 25th edition in Berlin. Each year, the festival is distinguished by the presence of outstanding symphony orchestras and their unique repertoires. In addition to performing works from the European orchestral canon, participating orchestras are encouraged to present music from their homelands, with a particular emphasis on introducing new compositions whenever possible. This blend of tradition and innovation makes the Young Euro Classic a highlight of Berlin's cultural calendar.
