From April to November 2025, the truck will visit 16 provinces and cities, including Ha Noi, Da Nang, Can Tho and Ho Chi Minh City, offering a full-day programme of activities. The initiative provides young people with practical insights into career opportunities in Germany, pathways for safe migration, and access to information on vocational education and higher studies.

At each stop, the Career Truck features cultural performances, German food, interactive sessions, and virtual reality experiences that showcase daily life in Germany. Visitors can also take part in STEM-related mini-games, job fairs, and consultations with experts on apprenticeships, skilled work, and studying abroad.

The project is supported by the “Shaping development-oriented migration” (MEG) programme, which is organising additional sessions in provinces with high numbers of migrant workers such as Nghe An and Ha Tinh. Alongside career guidance, the tour highlights successful diaspora start-ups like Baumarkt JSC and Agrivari, demonstrating how Vietnamese talent in Germany contributes to innovation and development back home.

German Ambassador to Viet Nam Helga Margarete described the launch as a “highlight in our shared journey, big in size and ambition,” stressing that the project reflects the strong cooperation between Germany and Viet Nam in education, innovation, and people-to-people ties.

The German Career Truck is free and open to the public, with events held in Vietnamese and English.
