Forecast Festival in Berlin Brings Together International Creative Talent
Global Mentoring Programme Encourages Cultural Exchange
July 13th, 2026Berlin is preparing to host the 2026 Forecast Festival, an international event that will bring together emerging artists, musicians, designers, filmmakers and creative practitioners from around the world. Taking place from 16 to 19 July at Radialsystem, the festival highlights the role of artistic collaboration in strengthening intercultural dialogue and international cultural exchange.
The Forecast Festival is the culmination of the Forecast mentorship programme, which pairs selected emerging talents with internationally recognised mentors from a wide range of creative disciplines. Throughout the year, participants develop innovative projects that are presented to the public during the festival in Berlin.
The programme includes performances, exhibitions, installations, talks and workshops, providing visitors with the opportunity to engage directly with artists from different cultural backgrounds. By encouraging collaboration across disciplines and national borders, the festival promotes creative dialogue and reinforces Berlin's reputation as a leading international cultural centre.
Supported by cultural institutions and international partners, Forecast demonstrates how artistic cooperation can contribute to cultural diplomacy by creating lasting professional networks and encouraging mutual understanding through creative practice. The festival also provides a platform for addressing contemporary social and cultural issues from a global perspective.
As artists and audiences gather in Berlin, the 2026 Forecast Festival once again illustrates how international cultural initiatives can strengthen dialogue, inspire innovation and foster meaningful cooperation between diverse communities.
