On Tuesday, October 5, 2024, the Embassy of Ireland in Berlin will host a special event titled "From Worriers to Warriors: how nature can change the world," as part of Berlin Science Week. In collaboration with the University of Galway, scientists will discuss how nature can inspire climate action and help address environmental concerns.

Dr. Gesche Kindermann, Dr. Jessamyn Fairfield, and Dr. Claire Murray will lead the discussion, blending creativity and science to explore innovative ways to combat the climate crisis. The event will also encourage attendees to share their favorite nature spots in and around Berlin, fostering a collective map of places for physical and mental well-being. This session aims to empower participants to engage with nature as a means to take meaningful climate action.
