Embassy of the Republic of Guinea in Germany Hosts Meeting with Aide Médicale pour l’Afrique to Strengthen Health Cooperation

Ambassador Aliou Barry received NGO delegation to enhance health partnership

As part of ongoing efforts to mobilize partners in support of Guinea’s social and economic development, the Embassy of the Republic of Guinea in the Federal Republic of Germany convened a meeting focused on strengthening cooperation in the health sector.

On 27 January 2026, His Excellency Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Mr. Aliou Barry, accompanied by the Minister Counsellor and the Second Socio-Cultural Counsellor, received a delegation composed of members of the German NGO Aide Médicale pour l’Afrique, led by its President, Dr. Boubacar Diallo.

During the meeting, Dr. Diallo, assisted by Vice-President Dr. Ruppert Burkhard, outlined the missions and objectives of the organization and expressed its willingness to contribute to strengthening cooperation between the Republic of Guinea and the Federal Republic of Germany, particularly in the field of health. The NGO Aide Médicale pour l’Afrique includes several private physicians established in the Federal Republic of Germany among its members.

In response, His Excellency the Ambassador welcomed the initiative, noting that it reflects civic engagement in support of Guinea’s development. He reiterated his support for the President of the NGO and reaffirmed the Embassy’s full readiness to facilitate its activities, in alignment with national health priorities.

The meeting reflects the shared commitment to advancing effective cooperation in the health sector in support of Guinea’s development objectives.
