The event opened with welcoming remarks by Mark C. Donfried, Executive Director and Founder of the Academy for Cultural Diplomacy. H.E. Dr. Imomudin Mirzoevich Sattorov, Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Federal Republic of Germany, also addressed participants, highlighting the importance of developing the tourism sector and effectively utilising Tajikistan’s natural and cultural resources to attract international visitors.

As part of the programme, the Tajikistan Session of the forum brought together representatives and guests to explore opportunities for cooperation, economic engagement, and cultural exchange with Tajikistan. Ambassador Sattorov outlined the country’s priorities in strengthening international partnerships and expanding collaboration with Germany and other global partners.

The Tajik delegation included Mr. M. Kurbonalizoda, Trade Attaché, and Mr. Ashurov Umedjon, Director of “Fan Mountain Travel,” who contributed to discussions on trade, tourism development, and investment opportunities. The session also featured a cultural performance by the “Jahonoro” Dance Ensemble, presenting a traditional Tajik dance that highlighted the country’s rich cultural heritage.

Overall, the event provided a valuable platform for dialogue on economic cooperation, tourism development, and cultural diplomacy, while showcasing Tajikistan’s potential as a partner for international engagement and sustainable economic growth.
