The Embassy of Denmark, housed within Berlin’s Nordic Embassies Complex at Rauchstraße 1, is a key supporter of Felleshus—a public cultural hub shared with Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden. Felleshus offers a continually updated program of contemporary Nordic art exhibitions, literary presentations (such as the “Book of the Month”), live jazz, film screenings, and lunchtime performances—all free of charge and open to the public.

Visitors to Felleshus can also enjoy a Nordic-style canteen serving traditional dishes, including smørrebrød and daily fish specials, along with aquavit, pastries, and hot beverages from the Victoria Kaffebar. The building integrates a relaxed café culture with its cultural offerings.

The embassy area forms part of daily architecture and culture walking tours—available at 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. from Oranienburger Straße—showcasing the unique design of the copper-clad Felleshus and the five embassy buildings, each representing distinct Nordic architectural styles.

Open Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and weekends from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Felleshus is a vibrant, accessible space for cultural diplomacy—blending exhibition, cuisine, architecture, and cross‑Nordic collaboration in Berlin’s diplomatic quarter.
