The pale pink cherry blossoms are a clear sign: spring is here! Thee Cherry Blossom Festival is held every year in April. It takes place in the Gardens of the World in the district of Marzahn. Around 25,000 visitors are expected to attend each year.

Hanami in Berlin

The festival takes place on the occasion of "Hanami", which means "looking at blossoms" in Japanese and refers to the traditional Japanese cherry blossom festival.
