"Changing Planet" - A Youth Perspective on Environmental Challenges
A Photo Exhibition at Gärten der Welt

On the occasion of the 2800th anniversary of the first Olympic Games and on the initiative of the Directorate General for Public Diplomacy of the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Embassy and Permanent Mission of Greece in Vienna, in collaboration with the Permanent Mission of France, opened an exhibition on Friday June 5th at the Vienna International Centre.
The exhibition features over 100 photographs that were created in collaboration with the Environmental Education Center (UBZ) Kienbergpark, part of the Stadt Natur Campus of Grün Berlin GmbH, the International Academy for Photography, and the Lichtenberg Youth Art School. These photographs address pressing environmental issues such as the advancing climate crisis, increasing pollution, and the loss of biodiversity from the unique perspectives of the young generation.
"Changing Planet" serves as a mirror of the world, capturing the critical and often unsettling changes in our environment through the eyes of young photographers. The exhibition is not just a display of art but a powerful statement on the urgent need for environmental action. It underscores the importance of listening to the younger generation, who will inherit the consequences of today's environmental decisions.
The exhibition is hosted in the beautiful and serene setting of the Oriental Islamic Garden in Gärten der Welt.
