“Mad Men” creator Matthew Weiner, “Rush actor Daniel Bruhl, “The Host” director Bong Joon-ho, “Hannibal” producer Martha De Laurentiis and “The Milk of Sorrow” director Claudia Llosa will also make up the team deciding on the 65th Berlinale Golden Bear for Best Film and Silver Bear awards. As well as the Silver Bear Grand Jury Prize, Silver Bear’s will be awarded to the best director, best actress, best actor, best script, outstanding artistic contribution and for the feature film that opens new perspectives.

The Berlinale Film Festival is the first of the year’s principal European film festivals and will present a truly international selection of films. Last year’s top prize was won by Chinese director Diao Yinan for the movie “Black Coal, Thin Ice”. This year, “Nobody Wants the Night” directed by Spanish director Isabel Coixet and featuring French actress Juliette Binoche will be opening the festival. Overall, movies from 72 countries will be presented at the 10-day film festival.

The 2015 Golden Bear for Best Film Award will go to one of nineteen films competing for this world-renowned prize. Thus, the jury will have a difficult task in determining the winner, as the selection is sure to be outstanding. The nineteen Golden Bear Award films are yet to be announced.
