Berlin will host the UEFA EURO 2024 Championship

From 14th June to 14th July, there will be a large number of activities to celebrate the UEFA

With 2.5 million fans expected, the UEFA Championship will come to Germany, one of the biggest sporting events in the world. 51 football matches will take place in 10 different German cities, five of them, and the grand final are going to be played in Berlin´s Olympic Stadium.

The Olympiastadion Berlin has a total of 74,475 seats, with 38,020 in the lower ring and 36,455 in the upper ring. Additionally, there are 170 accessible spaces for wheelchairs. The stadium was constructed between 1934 and 1936 for the Summer Olympics and is situated in the Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf district on the west side of Berlin.

Different Fan Zones will be available, the official Fan Zone will be in Tiergarten district and will run  from Brandenburg Gate via Straße des 17. Juni to Große Querallee. It will open from 8 am and the admission will be completely free. Public viewing of German matches, concerts, or opened cinema will be available for the visitors.

You will also find other fan areas: in Platz der Republik there will be live programme with performances, DJ sets, cocnerts and exhibitions, several programmes cooperating with Berlin cultural institutions and the Home of Adidas Football Stadium. In Pride House Berlin tehre will be the largest safe space for queer football fans at Poststadion Moabit Lehrter Straße 59 near the main railway station. In addition, there also will be Fan Meeting Points at Breitscheidplatz and Hammarskjöldplatz.

Spectators from all around the world will be following the UEFA, 425.000 tickets were sold for the Olympianstadion and will be broadcast to 210 countries worldwide.
