Young Euro Classic is the world’s most important festival for young international orchestra musicians organized in Berlin from July 19th to August 06th and celebrates its 20th anniversary. The festival is focused on the classical and contemporary music and it gives the possibility to artists from all around the world to perform in Berlin. The goal is to promote the knowledge of classical music by creating a cultural exchange.

The Greek embassy in particular has promoted the concert that it was held on July 27. The first part of the exhibition is focused on mythology: the Beethoven's symphonies recalls the characters of Prometeo and the opera of Cristoph Willibald Gluck traces the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice.

Than we can also discover the typical Greek dances with Mikis Theodorakis and Nikos Skalkottas and the concert ends with “Fantasy for Piano” by Beethoven.

Christoph Eschenbach direct a new bi-national project in which Greek and German musicians form an orchestra together to go back in time and discover a part of the Greek tradition through music. Sometimes music can communicate and combine more than words can do and could be a great way to discover new cultures.
