In her speech, Qi Mei remarked that language builds a bridge for mutual learning between world civilizations. Learning a new language is like opening a window to a new world.

The "Chinese Bridge" connects China and the world, and she hopes that Chinese language enthusiasts will experience the joy of learning Chinese, understand Chinese culture, have the opportunity to visit China, gain a deeper understanding of the real China, and comprehend the traditional Chinese idea of "the world as one family." She encouraged them to share their experiences and thoughts with more people, becoming inheritors and promoters of Sino-Austrian friendship.  This competition was hosted by the Chinese Embassy in Austria and organized by the Confucius Institutes at the University of Vienna and the University of Graz. A total of 13 contestants from 7 universities and 4 high schools in Vienna, Graz, Klagenfurt, and other places across Austria made it to the finals. Bellevo from the University of Vienna and Yuk from the Vienna Academic Secondary School won the championships in the university and high school categories, respectively.
